Hi TC,
Thanks for the comment! I'm back to answer your question:
I'm in the same boat as you are, my friend. Even in business class, I can never fall asleep for more than half an hour at a time. The humm of the plane drives me crazy, no matter what I have in my ears to block the sound. The fact that I know I'm moving in mid air keeps me awake wondering what might/can happen. After hundreds of flights, I have to admit, I'm still afraid of flying! I've had some scary moments on planes before, so everytime the seat belt light goes on, I get flashbacks.
Also, my body is full of adrenaline when I'm on my way to an assignment, so maybe that's also a big reason why I can't sleep. Coming home is a little easier for me, but not much--I still find myself sitting awake watching movies for 12 plus hours.
Hmmm, this topic makes for a great post! So tell me, why can't you sleep?
All the best!
Ron
